Leon’s Restaurant has been synonymous with New Haven County and exceptional Italian food. Family owned and operated, the tradition continues on Washington Avenue in North Haven, Connecticut.
What’s Changed Since Then?
Today, Edward E. Varipapa, Executive Chef and Owner, has brought back Leon’s to North Haven. Leon’s again offers its customers exceptional International and Italian dishes in a friendly, comfortable, family atmosphere. Leon’s famous signature creations–Pane Cotto, Gypsy Chicken and Calabrese peppers, to name just a few–are prominently featured on the menu along with the ever-changing “Goodie List”.
To provide our customers with an unprecedented experience of the highest quality that is reflective of our passion and dedication to traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine, that is complimented by an award-winning wine list. To continue to provide consistent, knowledgeable, friendly and personal service, as we have since our founding in 1938.
